Laser Eye Surgery

This site is dedicated to sharing as much about laser eye surgery as I know.

As someone who has been through the whole process, from considering the procedure, to investigating what happens, through to actually choosing the right and eye clinic and then recovering - I know that you are absolutely full of questions.  After all, your eyes are incredibly precious.

laser eye surgery

I had laser eye surgery with Lasik over 5 years ago and I have to say that it has changed my life.  And not in just the obvious ways like driving without glasses, or reading signs in the distance - but there are so many little things, like waking up in the morning and having instant clear vision.  Or watching TV whilst lying on the sofa with my head on a cushion - and not having my glasses start doing weird things!

But obviously, any procedure has its pros and cons and you need to make the decision yourself.  There are small risks involved and you need to understand what those risks are, as well as the likelihood, before you move forward.

Anyway, i'm sharing what i know, and what i can find.  I have absolutely no medical qualifications at all - just experience of the process and a healthy interest in researching it.  Please make sure that you treat the information on this site in an appropriate way and always make sure that you ask all the same questions to a qualified specialist in ophthalmology.  Do not make any decisions based solely on what you read here!
